Jepwe Solar Bug Zapper Discounted to Forty Dollars

October 4, 2026 — Amazon has dropped the price on the Jepwe 4500V Solar Bug Zapper to $40.19 through a specific promotional code. This portable unit features dual solar panels and a 4000mAh battery designed for off-grid insect control.

According to Slickdeals.net, the unit is being sold by BlueOcean Ventures via Amazon for $66.99, but applying the promo code SQU3M645 at checkout takes 40% off the total. Slickdeals.net also notes that the device is equipped with a high-voltage grid intended to handle heavy pest loads in outdoor settings. While the 4500V rating is impressive for a solar unit, these devices often struggle to maintain that power level if the battery isn't fully topped off by the sun.

Between these two options—this Jepwe unit and a standard plug-in Outdoor Bug Zapper—I'd go with the plug-in version if you have an outlet nearby. The Jepwe is right for campers who won't have access to a power grid for several days. However, the Outdoor Bug Zapper is better for homeowners who want consistent, high-voltage performance without worrying about cloud cover or battery cycles. If you're on a budget, the $40 price point on this Jepwe deal is hard to beat for a unit with a 4000mAh battery.

Expert tip: Solar panels on these small devices are notoriously slow. To get the most out of the 4000mAh capacity, charge the unit via USB before you head to the campsite, then use the solar panels strictly for maintaining the charge during the day.

Here's what I'd actually buy: I prefer the reliability of a wired Outdoor Bug Zapper for my patio because solar sensors can sometimes be finicky in shaded areas. Skip this if you plan on using it under a thick tree canopy where the dual solar panels can't see the sky. This deal provides a low-cost entry point into solar pest control, provided you understand the limitations of battery-operated grids. Shop Outdoor Bug Zapper
